Why do you need to Debind and Sinter your BASF Ultrafuse Printed parts? The filament is comprised of multiple materials, but mainly a metal powder mixed together with Wax and Plastic polymer. Once you have your part printed, the steps that are carried out at DSH Technologies is to catalytically remove the Wax-based material, then thermally remove the plastic polymer and sinter together all the metal powder particles.
So what do you need to do to get Metal Parts???
- Purchase a filament from one of BASF’s Ultrafuse distributors.

- Purchase Debind and Sinter Coupon from DSH Technologies.
- Print your BASF Ultrafuse Metal parts using best practices provided by your printer manufacturer and/or distributor.
- Prepare your parts for processing and follow these basic packaging instructions here (link on here to another page)
- Complete the processing form here (link for form example) and include this in the box of shipped parts.
- Ship parts to DSH Technologies or Elnik Systems, GmbH depending on Global location.
